COURSE DETAILS
On this six-week beginners' course, you will:

LEARN HOW TO WRITE ORIGINAL JOKES AND COMEDY ROUTINES

DISCOVER YOUR UNIQUE COMIC PERSONA

STUDY PERFORMANCE SKILLS (stage craft and presence, audience interaction and microphone technique)

RECEIVE CONSTANT ADVICE FROM JEFF, PLUS A GUEST TUTOR

HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PERFORM YOUR FIRST GIG
The final session is an optional showcase, where students can perform a five-minute stand-up routine to an invited audience of friends and family at the legendary Up The Creek comedy club.
During the course, you will also be invited as guests to a Sunday evening show at Up The Creek, to gain inspiration from watching professional comedians.

ONE-ON-ONE
These sessions are tailored to suit the requirements of each comedian, but they usually entail Jeff studying a live clip of your performance (supplied by you), a one-on-one workshop session, and a written assessment with analysis, constructive feedback and advice.

COMEDY MASTER CLASS
Jeff’s Comedy Master Class is his six-week course condensed into a single group lecture, designed for new comedians seeking to improve their act but who are unable to commit to a six-week course.
The Master Class is a three- hour session, with Jeff discussing the basic principles and practices required to improve your stand-up comedy act. He uses examples from his own body of material and draws on his own experiences for a Q&A session.
About Jeff
Jeff Innocent has been a stand-up comedian, actor and writer for over 20 years, and still performs stand-up at the highest level all over the world. He has won or been nominated for countless awards, including BRITISH COMEDIAN OF THE YEAR and BEST LIVE COMIC at the UK COMEDY AWARDS. Jeff is an experienced comedy tutor having run regular workshops at universities, prisons and corporate events. He has previously lectured on stand-up at The London Comedy School.
